Halloween festivities and school parties!

Halloween was a lot of fun this year! Halie wanted to be Sleeping Beauty and Gavin wanted to be a skeleton, so we made Grady into a pirate to match Gavin's Pirates of the Caribbean skeleton costume. On Halloween we went over to see my Grandma Chipman and to show off the kids in their costumes.
Here is Halie at her school party.
She is such a little princess and is all girl!
(If you couldn't tell by the pose.)

Here is Gavin at his school party. I am such a dork and if you are wondering why he looks like "aunt jamima" as Jed called him. I put his bandana on completely wrong! I know, I am just glad that he didn't know and that he had a fun time at the party.

Here is my little pirate. Grady was so good to leave his costume on and he never even tried to pull off the headband. Although the gold hoop earing didn't last!

Here is one of my best friends Elise and her little boy Reed,
Grady and I at the neighborhood trick or treat.
Elise you looked so stinking cute!

Here is our attempt at a family picture at the neighborhood trick or treat!

We had a lot of fun despite the craziness of getting to both kids
school activities and scheduling Grady in there too!
Happy Halloween!

Bath time Baby!

Do you get any cuter than this?
I just love this little boy and all of his rolls!

We love our bath time!

Carving Pumpkins

We had a lot of fun this year carving our pumpkins.
The kids picked out a design and then we all pitched in and made them look amazing.
The kids were pleased and they looked so neat
when they were all lit up.

The finished product!

The kids had so much fun they wanted to have their pictures taken.

Grady enjoying his first pumpkin carving!

Itty Bitty Ball

Pleasant Grove city has an Itty Bitty Ball program that is four weeks long. You go once a week and each time you go you learn a new sport. Gavin was finally old enough to do it this year. Halie did this a year or two ago and he wanted to play so bad. Well his turn finally arrived. He did this with his buddy and cousin Talmage. They had a blast doing this together and just being able to through, kick, and bat the balls around the gym.

What little goof balls they are!
They are such buddies and they love to be together,
even though they can fight like brothers at times!
Check out the movie of Gavin at the link below!

So here is Gavin at Itty Bitty Ball. This is the week that they did football. Gavin was in his element. Those of you that know Gavin know that all he will really play with is a ball. Well at this station they were learning flag football and had to take turns with the ball while the others would go after your flags, lets just say that Gavin took this seriously...

Pumpkins from Grandpa Anderson

Every year grandpa Anderson grows pumpkins in his garden and lets the grandkids pick one. My kids love this tradition that grandpa started a few years ago
and they look forward to going down to Richfield to get their pumpkin.

Our attempt at a picture of all three kids!
Not too bad, we have had worse!
Grady and Grandpa, see the resemblance?!
Gavin and Halie with the pumpkins they picked
Thank you Grandpa so much!
We love this tradition and the time that we get to spend with you!
We love you so much!

Bath time!

I don't have much to say about these pictures except for the fact that I love these kids and they love their bath time together. Gavin would take three baths a day if I would let him. Grady has come to love the bath as well. These pictures were just to cute not to share!

Hee Haw Farms

This year Gavin's preschool got to go to Hee Haw Farms for a field trip. It was a lot of fun despite the fact that it was hot and very crowded. Gavin, Grady, and I went together and had a blast. We went through the maze, went down the slide, ( a few times), saw all the animals, including the mascot of Hee Haw Farms, and got to pick a pumpkin out of the pumpkin patch!

Watching the new little piglets eat
Going down the slide, again!

The "Uncle Mark Smile"

These are just some really cute pictures of Grady that I took in Richfield on one of our visits down there. I call this smile the "Uncle Mark" because my uncle likes to smile in pictures by opening his mouth as wide as he possibly can! I love it and it is his trademark in pictures. I love my uncle Mark he is like my big brother, and I love Grady's face in these pictures!

Fish Lake

As I have mentioned before we love to go into the mountains especially in the fall. The colors of the leaves are so pretty, I just love it. We were in Richfield for the weekend and thought that we would take our Saturday and drive up to Fish Lake and see all of the pretty leaves and throw some rocks into the lake. Wow! The leaves were so full of color and they were so bright that they were almost florescent. We had a great meal outdoors and then went down by the lake and just enjoyed the scenery and being with family and our kids loved being with their cousins Jaren and Keaten who we don't get to see very often.

Grady & Grandma Jackie

Grady & Daddy

At the end of the night after we made it home and all the kids were bathed and ready for bed they were read bedtime stories from grandma Jackie. I thought this was a moment that I wanted to capture because I know that they will not forget all the times that grandma reads them stories. Thanks grandma we love you!

Cavemen Football

My youngest brother Bryce is a sophomore in high school at American Fork High. I am so excited that he loves to play football. We had a fun time every Thursday afternoon we got to go and watch uncle "Brycey," #27 play football. He gets in a lot of plays, which makes it really fun to watch. We love you Bryce and we look forward to next season! Go Cavemen!

Shots?

Grady had to have his seven month shots and you wouldn't know that he had anything happen to him. He was so good, by the time he started to cry and realize that something was going on the nurse was done with the shots. The crying only lasted for a moment and then he was back to smiling and laughing at everything his older siblings said to him.
Grady you are such a fun and happy baby and I just can't get enough of you and your cute chunky and squishy legs. I hope that all of our visits to the doctor are this easy but I am afraid that this will not always be the case, so I will enjoy it while it lasts!
