At Halie's school they had a Lincoln Pageant around President's Day. They learned all about Lincoln and about what they did back then for activities. The kindergartners learned the dance they did back then called the Virginia Reel. The school Lincoln Academy was even chosen to be the "Cool School" on chanel 13 news and so BIG BUDAH came to the school and the kids from each grade were able to show Live on Fox 13 News what they learned. Halie was soooooo cute! She loved every second of it! They had a partner and they would bow to honor their partner and then they would do se do and swing their partner and all of that fun stuff! Anyway it was darling and fun to see her get involved and come out of her shyness !

How fun! She will remember that forever! I to this day remember nothing about kindergarten except a little dance performance I did. My teacher was phillipino(sp?) and taught us a lot of their dances. I still remember loving it! Halie looks so sweet in those pictures!
