Gavin had a field trip to the Pleasant Grove City Fire Station! He was so excited because we missed this field trip last year and so he had never been to the Fire Station before.
First off we got to be the first group to see the BRAND NEW FIRE TRUCK! It is HUGE! The fireman told us all about the truck and all about fire safety, and then we were able to walk through the front of the fire truck! Then one of the kids was chosen to ring the bell, the kids all thought that it was going to be loud and so they all covered their ears!
After looking at the truck, and while the other classes looked at the truck they had all kinds of fun activities for the kids. They had an obstacle course and they had the big parachute out and they also had a station set up for the kids to draw a fire truck! Gavin has two of his friends in his class, Gracie and Ella, and they loved doing this together!
