"Now I am this many?"

"Now I am this many mom!" These were Gavin's first words when he woke up on his birthday! Gavin is now the big 4 years old!!! Gav was really excited to see his new bike for his birthday. He has been riding his big wheel for the last summer or two and he was ready for the "big boy bike." Gavin is big into super heros and so to now have his very own spiderman bike he thinks that he is pretty cool!

I think that he liked riding the bike inside the house more than anything because he knows that this is not something that happens very often! Halie gave to Gavin his safety gear. We are hoping that by using these elbow and knee pads that Gavin will have less scrapes and scars this summer!!!

Here is Gavin with his bouquet of balloons that he picked out for his birthday!!! This is one of his favorite parts of the day!

As you can tell Gavin loved having a day that was all about him!!! He helped me decorate his cupcakes for his friends party!

We spent the afternoon at Chuck E Cheese! This was so much fun and Gavin couldn't get enough of it! He loved this truck that he was riding in because it had some serious hydraulics and would rise a good few feet into the air! It must be a boy thing!

Here is Halie and our cousin Tyler in the playland! 

Gavin loves to shoot hoops and so when he found the arcade game that was hoops! Lets just say that we spent A LOT of time at this machine!!! Gavin takes his hoops games very seriously and so that is why his face in the picture below is so intense!

Gavin is a very easy kids to please and he gets very excited when it comes to presents. What kid isn't? I was able this time to catch his facial expressions and I love this picture!

When our efforts to make our own Spiderman cake failed we went to Wal-Mart and found this cake that had a Spiderman ring in it and the rest is history! 

Halie and Gavin's birthdays are only ten days apart and so this year my mom and dad gave the two of them a combined present. They recieved a really cool pool to use in our yard this summer! They love to swim and love the water and so as you can imagine they wanted to go right out and swim! Thanks for the great gift, I know that it will be well used this summer!

Gavin, I hope that you enjoyed your birthday and that you know how much your family loves you! You are a big part of our family and we love to have you around, you keep us on our toes and entertained! There is never a dull moment when you are around!
