Nothin' like hangin' down on the farm on a hot summer day! My kids LOVE to go to the petting farm at Thanksgiving Point. They love to feed the animals, ride the hay ride, the ponies, and play in the little town they have set up! They found the little jail house and so I couldn't resist this picture...
I think that I need one of these for those "hard" days! ;)
Halie is at that little girl stage where she LOVES horses. So she was thrilled to see that they had a little baby horse and that it was right at the fence so that she could pet it! I think that Grady just liked that there was something there that was his size! The goats are always fun because they like to eat!!! We always have to stop and give the goats some corn and I was surprised that Grady was not scared of them at all! He would put his hand right into their mouths to make sure that the corn was in there!
After the pony rides we were so hot that we decided to head out and get a popsicle to help us cool down! We had a great time and will probably go again, and again, and again if my kids have any say! It really is so fun to watch them discover new things!

I love summer and all that it brings. I'm glad you love the farm as much as we did. With our yr pass we went so many times. It's nice and easy to do even without husbands. When Steve was working long days and lots of them we were constantly at Thanksgiving Point. We definitely miss it. I'm glad we can still keep in touch even though we're so far away. Blogs are great.
We took our kids a couple weeks ago. They had so much fun. Is it open all year long? Watch out for the cows though. They lick! We went with our friends and the cow started licking and eating their little girl's hair! Hope all is good with you guys. Let's get together soon and do jewelry!
